Cheesy Apple And Oat Meatloaf
Make it with or without oats!
Recipe Summary Cheesy Apple And Oat Meatloaf
No one in our household liked meatloaf until I threw this together one day. Now even my picky 8-year-old will eat it! It is really moist which is why everyone likes it but has a bit of crust on outside.Ingredients | Paleo Apple Crumble With Oats1 pound ground beef½ pound ground pork1 egg⅓ cup finely chopped apple½ cup finely chopped onion2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce½ teaspoon salt¼ teaspoon pepper1 cup shredded Cheddar cheese½ cup bread crumbs½ cup quick cooking oatsDirectionsPreheat an oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease a 9x5 inch loaf pan.Mix the beef, pork, egg, apple, onion, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper in a mixing bowl until evenly mixed. Add the Cheddar cheese, bread crumbs, and oats; mix again until evenly mixed. Pack the meat mixture into the prepared loaf pan.Bake in the preheated oven until no longer pink in the center, about 1 hour. An instant-read thermometer inserted into the center should read at least 160 degrees F (72 degrees C). Allow the meatloaf to rest for 10 minutes before slicing to keep the meat from crumbling.Info | Paleo Apple Crumble With Oatsprep:
