I love cabbage rolls but don't have the patience to put them together, so I prefer to combine all the ingredients casserole-style and bake. Same taste, easier prep! That's how we roll!Ingredients | Pork Cabbage Rolls Tomato Sauce½ pound bulk Italian sausage½ cup chopped onion½ cup chopped bell pepper1 clove garlic, minced½ large head cabbage, chopped1 (8 ounce) can tomato sauce1 cup cooked rice2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce1 teaspoon brown sugar1 teaspoon lemon juice1 teaspoon Cajun seasoning¼ teaspoon ground black peppersalt to tasteDirectionsPreheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Lightly grease a casserole dish.Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Cook and stir sausage in the hot skillet until browned and crumbly, 5 to 7 minutes. Drain and discard grease.Add onion, bell pepper, and garlic to the sausage. Cook until onion is translucent, 8 to 10 minutes.
